Northborough, MA (01-24-2018) – In a letter on January 19, 2018 to all THG Corporation employees, Carey D. Rhoten, Owner and CEO of THG Corporation (The Hope Group) announced that the corporation and all its subsidiaries had been acquired by KLX Inc., of Miami, Florida. “KLX is a publicly traded company and a leading provider of aerospace fasteners, consumables, and logistics services, which make them an ideal partner for the future,” said Mr. Rhoten.
The announcement of the acquisition was made at a general company meeting on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the corporate headquarters and which was available for employees at all branch locations by phone conference. Representatives from KLX were present at the meeting to make the announcement and to welcome THG Corporation as the most recent acquisition by KLX. Mr. John Cuomo, Group VP and General Manager, KLX Aerospace Solutions, addressed the THG Corporation employees and made a presentation about what was expected as a result of the acquisition.
In a letter addressed to current customers and vendors of THG Corporation, Mr. Rhoten stated, “There are no changes for customers or suppliers of The Hope Group. The Hope Group businesses will not be integrated into KLX systems. There will be no changes for customers and there will be no name change,” said Mr. Rhoten.
In addition to the greetings provided by Mr. John Cuomo on behalf of KLX, a letter was distributed by Amin J. Khoury, Chairman, Chief Executive Officer of KLX Inc., in which he extended a welcome to THG Corporation employees. “With the acquisition of The Hope Group and your experienced team, we look forward to partnering with you to create new avenues for growth,” said Mr. Khoury. In the letter Mr. Khoury said, “KLX has enjoyed tremendous growth and success because of the extensive experience of our employees and our strong financial and competitive position, and we are very pleased to be adding The Hope Group’s expertise to our products, services, and solutions offerings.”
