Compliance to Quality Standards Important to The Hope Group
The Hope Group is committed to meeting the high expectations customers have for the quality of our products and services. The company was recently certified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, but we do not stop there. There are additional requirements to compete effectively for homeland security and defense contract business, so we have implemented measures to compliant to ITAR and AS9100/AS92120 standards. These important designations signal to our customers that we recognize the value of meeting and exceeding the quality and production standards necessary to compete in a global marketplace.
ITAR Registration Approved
In a letter from the US Department of State, The Hope Group was notified that it had been issued a Registration Code certifying it as ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliant. The ITAR regulations control the export and import of defense-related material and services. Administered by the Dept. of Defense, ITAR was created to advance US strategic objectives and foreign policy via trade controls.
“This registration is key to our strategic program to support our Military and Homeland Security customers to conform to ITAR regulations and the Arms Export Control Act,” said Jerry Lamothe, Quality Assurance officer for The Hope Group.
ISO Certification Upgraded
The Hope Group has successfully upgraded its registration from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015. The scope has been expanded to include “the distribution, design, engineering, service and manufacture of motion control and compressed air systems including engineered systems, pneumatic, automation and electrical control panels”. The Hope Group received its certificate from SAI Global congratulating them on having its registration upgraded. View our ISO certificate.
ISO 9001 certification means The Hope Group has implemented and maintains a Quality Management System compliant with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard, and which has be verified by SAI Global independent auditors.

AS9100/AS9120 Certification Achieved
The Hope Group’s certification to AS9100 and AS9120, the quality management system for manufacturers and distributors, respectively, of aerospace products, signifies its growth into the Aerospace market. Our AS9100 certifications enables us to service Aerospace customers and meet special requirements for certificates and traceability.
