Hydraulic Plumbing Workshop Being Offered
As Part of THG Corporation Seminar Series
Northborough, MA (8-1-2008) Tony Cantone, President of The Hope Group LLC, today announced that the popular, full six-hour Parker-Hannifin Hydraulic Plumbing workshop, would be offered this year as part of the THG Corporation Open House and Trade Show, set to run at The Leen Company in Portland, ME on October 2, 2008 and at The Hope Group office in Northborough, MA on October 8 & 9, 2008.
“This particular workshop is always popular with our customers and draws the largest crowds when we offer a seminar series such as the one planned for our upcoming 75th Anniversary celebration at The Hope Group,” said Cantone.
The Hydraulic Plumbing workshop features Parker factory-trained experts teaching how to achieve excellence in system design, installation and troubleshooting on hydraulic plumbing systems. The hands-on training will be offered in four sections: Hydraulic Hose Plumbing, Metric Fitting Identification, Dry Technology and Hydraulic Tube Bending.
Some of the specific topics covered include specific instructions and guidelines on how to select, assemble and route the proper hydraulic hose and fitting combination for maximum safety, service life and with zero leakage. Participants will also learn how to identify the port and tube end of any metric tube fitting or adapter using simple gauges and calipers and how to select the right metric fitting for a specific application.
According to Cantone, designers, assemblers and maintenance personnel will learn how to select, assemble and install hydraulic tubing, tube fittings and adapters. There will be special focus on achieving optimum plumbing design, installation and troubleshooting techniques.
Cantone said, “The factory-trained Parker personnel will teach how to accurately bend hydraulic tubing for optimum efficiency, leak proofing and aesthetics.” The day long sessions will include a lunch served in the Trade Show exhibit area and there will be plenty of time for visiting the 15 exhibitors presenting new products ranging from o-rings to hydraulic valves and cylinders.
